Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Chat Representative, you’ll be responsible for delivering prompt, professional responses to customer inquiries. Your primary focus will be on maintaining fast response times, resolving questions, and assisting with purchases—all through live chat and written communication.
Rate: $35 per hour
Contract Length: No fixed term
Hours per Week: Flexible, 5 to 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly and accurately to customer messages via live chat on websites and social media
- Share sales links, apply discount codes, and support customers through the buying process
- Follow up with customers to assist with orders
- Maintain a respectful, professional tone with both customers and team members
- Handle difficult questions with patience, clarity, and attention to detail
- Learn and use company knowledge (such as services, zip codes, or product options) to assist customers effectively
Requirements:
- Access to a laptop, tablet, or phone with high-speed internet
- Fluent in English with strong written communication skills
- A proactive, quick learner with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow clear instructions
- Willingness to participate in training and adapt to tools and platforms used
