Role Overview:
As a Live Chat Assistant, your main responsibility will be to log into business social media accounts and reply to customer messages. These inquiries may come from current customers needing support or new visitors with questions about products and services. You’ll receive full training to handle a variety of chat scenarios with professionalism and clarity.
Rate: $35 per hour
Contract Length: No fixed term
Hours per Week: Flexible—work anywhere from 5 to 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Respond to live chat messages via Facebook and Instagram
- Assist customers with product questions, order issues, or service concerns
- Share links to sales or promotions when applicable
- Use templates and step-by-step training to guide your responses
- Remain calm and professional while multitasking and managing multiple chats
Requirements:
- Access to a laptop, phone, or tablet
- Stable and reliable internet connection
- Basic English writing skills
- Ability to work independently and follow provided instructions
- Availability for a minimum of 5 hours per week
Skills/Background Needed:
No previous experience in live chat or customer service is required. This is a beginner-level role, and we provide full training to get you started.
