As a Chat Agent, you’ll communicate with customers via live chat to answer questions, guide them through purchases, and provide support when needed. You’ll use tools and templates provided to assist efficiently, with help from a supervisor for more complex issues.
Rate: $35 per hour
Contract Length: No fixed term
Hours per Week: Minimum of 5 hours (flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
- Log into the live chat system daily to assist with customer questions
- Use built-in features and response templates to reply quickly and accurately
- Support online shoppers with order questions, product info, and troubleshooting
- Escalate complex inquiries to a chat supervisor when needed
- Complete a short 1–2 hour training session before starting
Requirements:
- Access to a phone, tablet, or laptop
- Reliable internet connection
- Basic English writing skills
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
Skills/Background Needed:
No previous customer service or chat support experience is required. This is a beginner-friendly position with training provided.
